HOW TO USE:

BEDAYA: tea can be made with tea bags or dried leaves, and can be enjoyed hot or cold: 

TEA BAGS: Steep one tea bag in 200 ml of boiling water for 3–5 minutes. You can reuse the tea bag 2–3 times.

 

DRIED LEAVES: Steep 1–2 teaspoons of dried leaves in 1 cup of boiling water for 10–15 minutes. Strain the tea through a coffee filter or cheesecloth.

You can adjust the taste of bedaya tea with milk, sugar, lemon, or honey. Some say that bedaya tea has a mild, earthy flavor that’s slightly sweet. Others say it has a bitter weed taste and isn’t especially aromatic.
